As the school year winds down, I finally have a moment to reflect on my journey. ISM has been completely different from any other high school course; it didn't just teach me facts from a textbook, but instead forced me to step out of my comfort zone and operate like an executive in the corporate world.
Professionally, my growth has been astronomical. Through informational interviews, mentor collaboration, and public speaking at Presentation Night, I have completely transformed my corporate communication skills. Navigating these professional spaces has given me a level of confidence that will undoubtedly give me a massive head start as I transition into college.
Technically, developing Thryve allowed me to successfully merge my passion for quantitative analysis with practical software application. ISM gave me the creative freedom to pursue corporate finance at a collegiate level and proved what I can achieve when holding myself to a professional standard. I am incredibly grateful to my mentor and teacher for shaping me into the professional I am today.
